On Tuesday 5th September 2023, our brightest teachers were recognised by Prue Car (Deputy Premier, Minister for Education and Early Learning) at a ceremony in Sydney Town Hall.
This year, Miss Brand was recognised and awarded an Excellence in Teaching award presented by the Minister.
The award recognises Miss Brands commitment to teaching and the evidence-based practice demonstrated daily when teaching her class. Miss Brands instructional competence and extensive pedagogical knowledge are exemplary, showcasing her unwavering dedication to providing exceptional education. Her ability to create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment fosters active student engagement, igniting student passion for learning.
