Leaders shine at Liverpool City Council Young Leaders Forum

Students at Liverpool City Council Chambers

Our School Captains had the privilege of attending the Liverpool City Council Young Leaders Forum, an event that provided them with valuable insights and experiences in civic engagement and leadership.

During the forum, the students had the honor of listening to Mayor Ned Mannoun as he shared his vision for the future of Liverpool and the initiatives undertaken by the council to support the local community. Mayor Mannoun's address resonated deeply with the aspiring leaders, inspiring them to play an active role in shaping their community's future.

In addition to Mayor Mannoun's speech, the students participated in a keynote session focused on leadership, gaining valuable knowledge and skills that they can apply both within their school and beyond.

As part of the forum, our leaders were treated to lunch and a tour of the newly opened Yellamundie library. They explored various sections of the library, including the children's level, where they witnessed the power of literature to inspire young minds. The visit also included a stop at the STEM lab.

The attendance of our student leaders at the Liverpool City Council Young Leaders Forum displays our commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals equipped with the skills and values to thrive in an ever-changing world.
